Nx Witness allows users to activate / deactivate licenses any time via an Active Internet connection. If you are trying to activate a license on a computer without an active Internet connection, please check out Manual License Activation.

How to activate a License while Online:

1. Launch the Nx Witness Desktop client and login to your Nx Witness System. Make sure you log in with Administrator rights.
2. From the Main Menu button, choose System Administration.
3. Navigate to Licenses, and in the New License section choose the Internet Activation tab.
4. Input your License Key (the 16 digit alphanumeric key emailed to you with your license purchase).
5. Press Activate License.

When you have completed the license activation, you should now see the related licenses, their expiration date, and the server on which the licenses have been applied in the Licenses dialog.

NOTE: To activate a license, the server you are connected to must have internet access to communicate with the license server.
