An Nx Witness license key is a 16-character code that, once activated in Nx Desktop, allows for the recording or control of supported devices.
The structure of an Nx license key is XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
An accompanying serial number (typically provided to the authorized Reseller/Partner) contains information about the license key's properties. Serial numbers do not serve a functional purpose in Nx Witness.
The structure of an Nx serial number is LL-####-DDMMYY-XXXXX, NAME

Example:
KVJV-PFAD-MDYU-F8YQ (Serial: 01-0004-080520-06524, NXWI) is a PROFESSIONAL license key (“01”) with 4 CHANNELS (“0004”) created on May 8, 2020 (“080520”) that should be activated on Nx Witness (“NXWI”).
