What is the issue?
When setting up Smartplan IVS events such as Smart Motion Detection, Intrusion Detection, or Tripwire Detection, the metadata doesn't provide accurate attributes when a person is detected. As a result, the individuals listed in the Objects tab either lack attributes entirely or incorrectly show "Clothing Color: Black," regardless of the person's actual clothing color. The color black is displayed because all values are zeros, which correspond to the RGB value for black.
On the other hand, if you configure the other Smartplan options, the information is displayed correctly. Unfortunately, it's important to note that typically, events cannot be used simultaneously with Smartplan IVS events.
What is the cause of the issue?
When the camera provides data for Smartplan IVS (displayed on the right side), all values appear as zeros, which result in showing the color Black, regardless of the actual color. In contrast, for other Smartplan options (shown on the left side), might provide the values which are correctly displayed into the VMS.
What is the short term solution?
Since we cannot change the data that is provided by the affected cameras, there is currently no short-term solution available.
What is the long term solution?
The issue has been reported to the vendor by multiple people, and we are all awaiting a fix from their side. We recommend reaching out to the vendor for a status update on the resolution.
