By default, the Desktop client displays up to 64 resources in the viewing grid. It uses Adaptive Scaling technology to automatically adjust the resolution of these items, which optimizes performance and minimizes CPU usage.
While we recommend keeping the default limit, administrators can change the maximum number of items allowed on a layout.

Change the item limit
To change the maximum number of items per layout, you must modify or create the maxSceneVideoItems configuration file.
For Windows
Navigate to the following directory:
C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Network Optix\Network Optix HD Witness Client\settings\localOpen the
maxSceneVideoItemsfile in a text editor. If the file does not exist, create a new file namedmaxSceneVideoItemswithout a file extension.Change the value to your desired number of items.
Save and close the file.
Restart the Desktop client.
For Ubuntu
Open a terminal and navigate to the settings directory:
cd ~/.local/share/Network\ Optix/Network\ Optix\ HD\ Witness\ Client/settings/local/Open the
