Making sure all Nx Witness processes and resources are running uninterrupted is essential for a trouble-free experience. Unfortunately, some antiviruses may incorrectly block a process or resource being used by Nx Witness. Follow the instructions below to prevent your antivirus from conflicting with Nx Witness software.
Adding Nx Witness to an Antivirus Exceptions/Exclusions list:
Follow the instructions below to help prevent potential conflict between your antivirus and Nx Witness.
- Launch your antivirus application and find the setting called Exclusions, Exceptions, or Allow List. This will allow you to choose specific files and folders to be excluded from scans.
- Add an exception or exclusion for each of the folder paths below:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Videos\HD Witness Media

Note: The HD Witness Media path may vary depending on the storage location you set for video archives.
