Below you'll find the instructions to transfer the System Ownership from the current Cloud System Owner, to the new Cloud System Owner
Prerequisites
The future Cloud System Owner, has to be an existing user.
NOTE: Once the Ownership is transferred, the current owner will be removed from the system, and needs to be added back to the system by the new Cloud System Owner if desired.
Instructions
For the current Cloud System Owner
- Navigate to the Cloud Portal (nxvms.com) and login with the current Owner credentials.
- Select the tab Settings in the top bar.
- Select the General menu from the System Administration panel on the left.
- In the middle of the screen, you'll see the System Name, and below Owner - you (change).
- Select (change) and in the new window that opens, select To user and enter or select the new Cloud Owner email address.
- Select Transfer and enter the current Cloud System Owner password.
- The new Cloud System Owner will receive an email to transfer the ownership.
For the new Cloud System Owner
- Once the email from the current Owner is received, the future Owner logs in to the Cloud Portal.
- Select the tab Shared with me.
- Select the applicable system.
- Select Accept to finalize the transfer (or Reject to refuse the transfer).
- The previous Cloud System Owner receives an email, that the transfer was accepted.
- (Optional) Add the previous Cloud System Owner to the system and assign a new user role.
