Creating a Channel Partner enables the delegation of further Channel Partners and Organization management to another entity.
| NOTE: The active Channel Partner is responsible for the cost of all Subscription Services consumed by any directly-reporting Channel Partners. |
- Log into Nx Connect as an Administrator and select the Channel Partner to manage.
- Select the Channel Partners tab on the left side menu.
- Click the Create Channel Partner button and navigate through the Channel Partner creation modal using the in-dialog Next and Back buttons, not your browser’s back and forward buttons.
New Partner Attributes
The new partner creation process contains a few screens that required minimal, yet very important information.
- Company Information (name, address, website).
- Contact email addresses for the account manager, administrator, and accountant.

Usage Based Billing (UBB)
- Default setting for UBB is OFF.
- Your Channel Partner must have UBB enabled for you offer UBB.
- Only Subscription Keys can be used when UBB is OFF.
- Custom ID is an optional, free form field.

- Subscription Services that will be available.
- A confirmation a summary of the new Channel Partner.
After approving the new partner summary, click the Create button.
The newly created Channel Partner will be available within the Nx Connect portal shortly.
NOTES:
- The Administrator receives an email when they are listed as an Administrator for another Organization.
- The Account Manager receives an email when a user’s email user is not part of the existing Channel Partner.
- The Accountant does not receive any user-related emails
