Channel Partners and Organizations are the operational building blocks of the Enterprise Edition VMS that enable usage based billing and operational control of managed deployments.
Channel Partners
At the pinnacle of the reseller structure is the primary Channel Partner.
This partner is responsible for the creation of downstream Channel Partners and Organizations, which are established to consume and/or resell Subscription Services. The Channel Partner hierarchy can extend across several levels, with accountability resting on each Channel Partner for the Subscription Service cost incurred by the Organizations and Sites they manage.
Organizations
Channel Partners utilize the Nx Connect portal to create Organizations, each of which can contain an unlimited number of Sites.
Channel Partners set the service price for each Organization and define the number of services available to an Organization.
Organization Administrators in turn enable services on their devices.
