Hi David,
Yes, likely the account is the issue.
Hi David Dawes,
For some reason, the registry might be broken, or the user account does not have the right to access some registry. You can download the Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed from (microsoft.com)
The client has been uninstalled now on your PC.
Thanks. -
Hi David Dawes,
It looks like the permission issue. Please confirm your account is the administrator and the write permission is allowed to the folder.
Thanks.

Hi David Dawes,
Can you provide the screen recording to show the issue you faced? We did not see this before.
Also, you mentioned that you tried to login as local machine, this seems not a common case.
What was the detail of you system? How do you operate?0 -
sure, how do i upload this? domain based PC/laptop. i am domain admin, never had issues before with this program, went to update the client the other day and failed. went to uninstall current client to do fresh install and that fails too. logged in as myself with my domain account, and tried as local admin account too

Hi David Dawes,
You can upload the video to any cloud shared drive(OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox....etc), then shared the link with us. Also, it is likely we will need remote access to your pc.
Please download and install Teamviewer – a popular remote access application.
In order to avoid possible delays due to different time zones and to speed up the investigation process, we kindly ask you to set up unattended access by following these instructions.
Once setup is complete, please provide us with the following information:
- Team Viewer credentials (Login and Password)
- VMS credentials (Login and Password)
- OS credentials (if required)
- Camera(s) Credentials (if required)We appreciate your cooperation.

Hi David Dawes,
Based on your video, this looks like not a software issue but an application can't be uninstalled when it is in use or some folders are in use.
Since the video shows that you have other clients opened -
1) Please first close all the Nx Desktop Client on that PC.
2) Restart the PC.
3) Uninstall the Desktop client. (This should uninstall all the client on your PC)
4) Reinstall the Client with a proper version. If you want to have a complete uninstallation, you can find the detail on the knowledge base.
