NX Witness in Android TV

Hello,

 

It is possible install and configure NX Witness in Android TV (Xiaomi Mi Stick TV)?

NX Witness is not available in Play Store, but I install the offical APK but now I cannont configure the server in the app.

I need help. thank you!

  Hi Luís,

  Please allow me to ask more details of your case since I'm not pretty sure about the problem.
  Firstly, you install the APK of Nx mobile client on your Xiaomi Stick TV but you said "cannot configure the server".
  What do you mean about "cannot configure", can the Nx mobile app launch successfully?
  Or there's some displayed issue there. It would be better if you could provide the screen recording and the version of Nx for us.

  Yes, the app launch successfully but after that stay freeze in the homepage, I cannot go to "configure server" or NX cloud for example. I cannont "navigate" inside the application.

  Hi @...,

  I have installed Nx Witness on various TV boxes / Media boxes in the past without any issue. 
  Often I needed to side load the application though, since the box was 32-Bit. 

  Another issue I frequently hear is a lack of OS updates for the TV box and therefore the Android version is incompatible with the Nx Witness app. 

  We never developed or test the Nx Mobile application for other devices then smartphones and tablets, so it can be a lot of things. Why it is 'freezing'. Freezing is also a bit generic term. Could you be a bit more specific about what you mean with freezing? A screen recording would be really nice. 

  Regarding:

  1. Configure server: with the Nx Mobile app, you cannot configure a system. 
  2. Nx Cloud: you can log in and access the Nx Cloud via the Nx Mobile application
  3. Navigate: you can navigate to the various systems within the LAN network or the ones that are connected to the Nx cloud account. When connected to a system, you can navigate to all applicable cameras and recordings of these devices.

  Thank you for your help!
  
  After connect a bluetooth mouse to my Xiaomi Mi Stick TV (Android TV) I finally configure the access to my NX Witness server and navigate the application without any problems.
