BSD Support?
AnsweredI get this is unlikely to be officially supported, but has anyone tried running using Linux emulation under FreeBSD? Ideally I'd like to run this on my NAS...

HI Nick,
There is no official support for FreeBSD, but that being said, more and more NAS devices also support their own variant of a VM (not officially supported, but in general it does work) to allow you to set up a Docker for which we released an experimental build.

How hard would it be to get NxW running as a TrueNAS plugin? I realize you guys are probably more on the cutting edge than software like Plex Media Server, but somehow those guys push out updates to 15 different platforms every time they compile a release.
Computer OS:
- FreeBSD
- Linux
- Mac
- Windows
NAS OS:
- ASUSTOR
- Drobo
- FreeNAS
- Netgear
- QNAP
- Seagate
- Synology
- TerraMaster
- Thecus
- unRAID
- Western Digital
The NAS eco-system would be a good place for Nx Witness to exist if you could get the compiler chain worked out.

Hi Jeff Jones,
We do not have the plan to support the Nx Witness as a TrunNAS plugin currently.
If you would like to run the Nx Witness on the environments you mentioned, like my colleague Norman replied, we do have an experimental function that deploys the Nx Witness by using Docker.
Here is the support ARTICLE for your reference.Thank you.
