About scalability of camera support

We are currently proposing NxWitness to our customers.
Customers seem to be conscious of long-term scalability, and we receive inquiries asking, "How many cameras have you supported compared to 2-3 years ago?"

Regrettably, this particular number is out of the scope of our software and is not information we can provide.
Nx Witness integrates the device by ONVIF Profile or native API for some manufacturers (See this article for the details), implying that devices can be added and supported as long as they are compatible with the ONVIF Profile S or supported API.
As for the exact number from different manufacturers, it remains elusive. Nonetheless, ONVIF is the prevailing standard within the video surveillance system, I believe that ONVIF compatibility ensures scalability in the future.

You'll see that the current list of supported devices are 965 manufacturers and, 18076 different models and the list grows every day.We don't keep a list of the number of devices are added per time period, but this is a multitude of the number of support devices since the day I started to work for Network Optix 7 years ago.
