API request to Tag alarm state on rule instead of schedules
AnsweredHey
Ok so if im running innerrange which I know I can send API http commands and ive got it working, so that’s fine
Anyway I know I can get the alarm to send a api saying ARMED. DISAMARED., is there a way to only send a notification to a phone on an analytics event based when its in armed state instead of using schedules ?
So on a event if the system is ARMED, then send a push notification on a analytics event triggered by camera

Hi Blair Wellerr,
As I understand, you would like to send out the Mobile Notification when receiving the Analytics Event from the camera only when the alarm system is armed.
This can achieve by:
- Create the Event Rule(s) for sending out the Mobile Notification when receiving the Analytics Event from the camera.
- Set the Alarm System to send out the /ec2/saveEventRule API to activate/inactivate the Event Rule(s) created in step 1.
You may need to use the /ec2/getEventRules API to get the ID of the Event Rule(s), and insert it(s) back to the /ec2/saveEventRule API request.
Please refer to our API Documentation on the Nx Server Web Admin page for further information.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any concerns or further questions.
Thank you. -
Hi Blair Wellerr,
I'm interested in what you mean with 'hasn't got that advanced'.
I'm not offended by this term, but really eager and curious to learn what you mean by this, and if you can provide more details about what it is that you would like to see? -
Hi Norman
i have done integrations for a very long time and i have seen alot of software out there, NX is very promising
Your nx system is great and i get it is still new, Im just trying to do things which your software doesn't support next. Theres a few things which would be great to be able to do in the future.
