Onvif and the LTS LTN8716K-HT
CompletedHi All,
Has anybody had any luck getting the LTS LTN8716K-HT to authenticate with NX witness? NX is finding the device but will not log in. Is there any guides available to get it working?
Not sure if this is the problem, but all the cameras are analog cameras, logging in through web interface is working fine, adding RTSP streams is working. Have tested using the ONVIF device manager and get the below error when connecting
"The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme "Anonymous"
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Ben Denford,
Possibly that you didn't edit the credentials that are used in Nx from Camera settings > General page. Or you need to create the ONVIF account on the camera webpage for authentication.
The error message you've got indicates you are still using the anonymous account.
When you test on the ONVIF device manager, please remember to log in with the account on the left upper side first before checking this device.
Feel free to contact us if you can get it working on the ONVIF device manager but still struggle in Nx.
Thank you.0 -

Hi Ben Denford,
If it fails to log in via the Onvif Device Manager as well, it might be that you need to enable Onvif ánd create an Onvif user in the device.
Enabling Onvif might be found on the web GUI of the device under Network, Advanced Settings, and you'll find a tickbox with Enable Onvif. You also, should be able to Add a new user here. So create a new user and give it Administrator rights.
When this is done, you should be able to find and authenticate the device in ODM and Nx.

HI Norman,
Thanks for helping out.
I have had that enabled from the beginning with the user marked as an Administrator. I have updated firmware on the DVR to the latest firmware, same result will not connect.
Any further ideas?
I am also reaching out the LTS for some help

Hi Ben Denford,
I don't have a specific clue, how to resolve it. Enabling Onvif is something LTS should be able to arrange, but I'm more than happy to check what we can do if we can have access to the device through port forwarding.
If that is possible, we will transfer this topic into a support ticket, so you can share the login credentials privately.
