Bosch OnBoard Relay Config changing on NX server restart
In ProgressHi Guys,
I have a Bosch DINION IP starlight 7000 HD (CPP7) installed onsite.
I have the onboard relay controlling a seperate device depending on bosch camera analytic event.
NX Version: 4.2.0.32840
OS: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Everytime, the NX server pc is rebooted it clears out the Alarm I/O settings in the camera.
All the onboard analytics are retained but the relay control logic is modified.
Is there a way to stop this?
I have already un-ticked allow camera setting optimizations.
Thanks..

Hi Joshua Geaney,
There is a known limitation for the Bosch firmware, meaning the if both media and media2 were requested by the server it might influence the camera.
So please, check if there is new firmware for the camera that resolves the issue. If that isn't the case, you can disable Media2 requests in the Expert tab of the Camera Settings menu.
If you disabled the Media2 requests, the I/O settings should be unaffected.
If this remains an issue, please do the following:
- Assure all settings are made in the device.
- Start Wireshark with the camera IP address as host filter as described HERE.
- Reproduce the issue and confirm that the settings were cleared.
- Stop and save Wireshark.
- Share the Wireshark file for further investigation.
