Launch NX Witness client in a Citrix Shared Desktop on Windows 2012 R2 Video card drivers are outdates or not installed
AnsweredHello
I try to install and launch the Nx Witness Client in a Citrix Shared Desktop session ( kind of RDP ) on a Windows 2012 R2 Virtual Machine running on Nutanix Systems
There is no GPU card in the physical servers and so no video card "transmitted" to the Virtual Machine
when I try to launch the client, I get the message : "Video card drivers are outdates or not installed"
So I tried the bypass solution https://support.networkoptix.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013581987-How-to-run-Nx-Desktop-in-limited-GPU-environments
The thing is, there are several different versions of the files opengl32.dll , libglapi.dll, and libgallium_wgl.dll on GitHub
I tried some of them, with no luck. Either it gives the same message ( for x86 versions ) either the client applauncher crashed ( one of the x64 versions ) or the applauncher just launches nothing ( the last x64 version )
do someone have a functioning version of these files, or someone made it work somehow with a similar architecture as we have ?
Thanks a lot for your advices

Hello @...,
Unfortunately, there are known issues when using Citrix for virtualization.
Also, the client in particular isn't recommended at all in any virtual environment. Please check our support article about Using Nx Witness in a virtual environment HERE.

Yes I saw also this article
the things is we only use Citrix platform for our environment. NO standard PC with windows at all, only thinclient
is there a bypass possible that would just bypass the check for Video , just say " we didn't find any video card, your graphic experience will be impacted"
I had the same with Photoshop, and it just says it, but accepts that the video experience will be degraded using a choice at startup
would it be possible to launch the Desktop client without checking for Video ?
Thanks

Hello @...,
No workarounds we are aware of, but perhaps other community members might.
