Bosch cameras get green screen
AnsweredI get a green screen sometimes with Bosch 8000i in NX Witness.
To get the picture back in NX, I need to remove the camera in NX and add it again.
Have tried to soft and hard reboot the camera, but it still only shows a green 4:3 screen.
And in settings it shows MJPEG when it's should be H265.
But after remove/add, it's shows up and in the settings it says H265.
Is it a compatibility issue?
NX Witness: 4.2.0.34860
Bosch firmware: 7.84.23

HI @...,
This is a known issue, since after a camera reboot, h264 profiles cannot respond to GetVideoEncoderConfigurationOptions request completely (lack of attribute ResolutionsAvailable). It might need more time(more than 50 seconds) to initialize. Nx Witness Wave cannot get expected info, so we choose JPEG profile as primary stream. But there's only green image for MJPEG profile. If you reboot the mediaserver, Nx Witness will select the h264 profile again as the camera could respond to it correctly.
What does help is if you change the Onvif Media2 option in the Expert tab of the Camera Settings menu to Never as shown below:

Thank you!
We have been having this issue which was always resolved by a NxWitness server reboot. This solution seems to have resolved the issue from re-occurring.
