RTSP resolution change with broken live(WebRTC to RTSP)
AnsweredDear Support,
we have a body worn camera which using the WebRTC to our relay server, and then transcoding to RTSP , so we can add the relay IP with the RTSp path to the Nx server.
However, we have an issue that since the BWC is using LTE or Wifi, sometime the connection is not quite stable depends on the working environment of the patrol guard, so we have have to let user change the resoluion on the BWC site. When we change the resolution, the live view become borken, so we need to stop the recording, or if I don't use the recording, I need to stop the live , then wait for around 10 second then reopen the live on the Nx client, in order to make the Live stremaing back to normal. Can you adjust a better way(Like short the rtsp time out, or any other setting can help ?)
Thank you, and looking forward to hearing from you~

Hi @...,
I'm not sure how the solution works from your side, but you can add a secondary RTSP stream to Nx as described in THIS article. That being said, that only makes sense for the server <-> client connection.
When you change the stream on the device itself, it allows approx 10 sec. delay in the connection. But is this delay is short, e.g. 2 seconds, the server should continue to receive the stream.
Simplified proces description:Anything below <10 seconds will be a package loss / network issue
Anything above >10 seconds will be a camera disconnection.0
