It is possible to connect RTMP cameras into Nx Optix?
AnsweredOne of our customer is an internet service provider, and they want to add IP cameras over a CGNAT network.
Nx Optix has any integration with camera manufacturer with some protocol to solve it as RTMP, Nat traversal or something else?
That is a big project more than 5.000 channel`s.
We saw and there is some cloud vms who use RTMP in order to solve CGNAT and any other difficult to connect ip cameras to the cloud.

Nx Witness can't receive an RTMP stream.
If they run the server on the same subnet as the camera (through Onvif, RTSP, etc.), they should be able to connect to the server remotely over a CGNAT network when the cloud relay connection is used.

Hi Gabriel Inocencio,
My bad. I made a typo. Nx Witness can't receive an RTMP stream.Regarding:
Can we have an online meeting today or this week to talk about that?
The support team doesn't offer meetings in voice. For non-resellers we have this community to answer all your questions.

You need to do the following:
- Set up a system in Site A, and connect up to 128 Onvif cameras per server.
- Connect the system to the Nx Cloud as described HERE.
- Open the desktop client at Site B and login to the cloud with the client.
- The system of Site A, should be visible in the login screen, and you can click and connect to it.

Tks Norman but we want to connect directly an IP camera to the cloud server in site B without a system in Site A.
Remember as I told before besides it has a CGNAT in the middle the server with NX Optica will be inside of the same internet service provider.
There is any way to work with IP cameras or tell to the manufactory how to implement the same rule you have in Nx Optics servers NAT Traversal Methods? -
You can't connect to the camera without a Nx system in Site A.
To use the cloud relay, a server is mandatory, since that is what we can control with our cloud service.
There might be some camera manufacturers, I don't know which, that have their own cloud relay servers, and if you want to share with other manufacturers how we did it, please refer to this support article.
Most likely if you can access the camera through their cloud relay service, you'll be limited to the raw RTSP streams.
Perhaps it is sensible to reach out to our local reseller, who can discuss the current architecture and how to make it work with Nx Witness, but it would require local servers. These can be cheap Celeron based servers in case of just few cameras, but it is required to make the connection.
