What is Nx Cloud, and why should I connect my System to it?
Nx Cloud is a cloud-based service that allows users to:
- Connect to their System(s) from anywhere, anytime, with just an email address and password.
- Share access to System(s) with new Users.
- View live or recorded video from connected System(s).
An unlimited number of Systems can be connected to a single Nx Cloud user account, and users can have unique roles assigned based on each System.
Connect a System to Nx Cloud
From the Nx Witness desktop client
- Log in to the target System as the Local System Owner (username: admin)
- Open Main Menu –> System Administration (Ctrl+Alt+A) and go to the Nx Cloud tab.
- Click Connect System to Nx Cloud and input your Nx Cloud username and password.

- Once connected, the System will be displayed in the Nx Cloud browser interface and will be accessible without a login.

From the Nx Web Admin interface
- Log in to the target System as the Local System Owner (username: admin)
- Click Settings tab -> System tab
- Click Connect to Nx Cloud

IMPORTANT: The Nx Cloud account used to connect a System to the Cloud will become the Cloud owner.
Disconnect a System from Nx Cloud
From the Nx Witness desktop client
- Log in to the target System as the Local System Owner (username: admin)
- Open Main Menu –> System Administration (Ctrl+Alt+A) and go to the Nx Cloud tab
- Click Disconnect System from Nx Cloud Account.

- Log in to the target System as the Local System Owner (username: admin)
- Go to the Settings tab → System tab
- Click Disconnect from Nx Cloud

IMPORTANT: Disconnecting will cause all users a System is shared with to lose their access, and each user will have to be re-added manually.
