Cloud portal "Download Full Report" in json format? What can I do with this info?
AnsweredHey everyone,
I have been playing with the access and control from the cloud side to manage systems remotely.
I love that there is now info on camera archive length and cam status stuff! But...
I'm not familiar with .json format. When I download the report, I get info that when viewed with a text editor or most of what I've tried to use to view.. looks like XML style script.
What can be done with this info? I have reports I currently deliver to customers on this platform, but this would be great to parse out to useable spreadsheets etc..
It may be obvious, but I was hoping for an easy way to use the data without too many steps or extra apps to see and use the data in a meaningful way.

Hi Matt Barber,
Even though there're many JSON formatter/viewer tools online, I guess that's not the way you're asking for.
Our developer has added the viewer feature for users to check the report in a readable way. Please just visit the Nx cloud page and upload the Nx JSON report to https://nxvms.com/health-report/viewer. Then same health page will be restored and displayed for you.
Thank you.

Ahoy,
I have watched the information in the web interface come along nicely.
I have seen requests for reporting in another thread a few years back.
Just wondering if there is any consideration to generate pretty graphs that outline the basics our customer wants. We offer to provide reporting information to them on their systems as part of our service.
I would like to be able to pull logs for merged systems that show basic info on Camera disconnects for a time window I could set.
Same for Server failure
Same for Network issues
Same for server start
Same for drive issues
Conflicts etc..
As it is now, I need to enter the event log, sort, then highlight and export the information.
This is done in HTML.. cool.. but now I get individual HTML files for each location with the data in separate files. I'd love to have a canned report option to generate this data for customers and show some value for their service contracts.
I thought perhaps the .json file export and viewing options might allow me to do this better, but I haven't found a way yet that makes it worth my time to slice and dice the data.
Can you share if this feature-set is on the radar? And what we might be able to hope for and do about reports like this?

Hi Matt Barber,
I know it has been discussed, but also that there are many other features that are demanded, and I have no clue if and when such feature will be available.
Personally, I use Uptime Kuma to monitor all my systems and websites, which is an easy to set up application. You can read THIS blog (translation button on the top-right) about how to set this up.
If graphs are mandatory, please check out the Smart Cloud Monitor or Check My CCTV.
I would encourage you to submit your demand for this feature in our Feature Feedback section so our prodcut team is aware of this demand.
