Client not recovered after restart without internet access
AnsweredSo where I have the client/server placed, power delivery isn't reliable. The power drops and the system gracefully shuts everything down via the UPS. When the power returns everything starts up again but often the internet access can take much longer to come back online.
The servers start up and work as expected but the client which displays the cameras for the security staff gets stuck in the login page, even though the auto login checkbox is flagged. One then needs to manually login to the profile to get the client to display feeds.
Is there any way in which the client can just autologin regardless of the fact that internet access has not been restored?

Hi Calypso,
I would like to gather more information about the issue you met.
Do both the server and client locate in the same network?
Does the client connect to the server by the cloud account or local account? If the client is now using the cloud account to connect to the server, please try to use the local account instead and see whether this could meet your need.
If not, please take and share the screen recording with us, for understanding more about the issue.
Thank you.0 -
Both are connected to the same network. Client and servers are separate VM's on the same machine.
The client connects to the server via locally (via IP)
The error I get says: Failed to connect to server, Please check access credentials and try again.
This then unchecks the autologin box and if one clicks through the error above one can just manually click the connect button to start up the client.

Hi Calypso,
Thanks for the information update, I would need more information for investigating the issue.
What type of account does the client software use to connect the server?
Does the account is a mail address like anderson_chang@networkoptix.com?
Or only the account name like admin or anderson_chang?Could this issue be replicated by cutting down the internet connection intentionally?
Does restart the server will cause the issue occur?
If it could be replicated, please follow this support ARTICLE to set both server and client log level to DEBUG, then try to replicate the issue, and share the log files with us.
Please also take the screen recording on the client software and share it with us, which could be helpful for the investigation.Thank you.

Hi
Sorry I was away for a while. The account is connected to NX Cloud but the client reaches the server locally via IP.
When the client and server start with no internet being present then the client will not auto login to the server. will just sit on an error screen stating "Failed to connect to Server, Please check access details and try again."
If one manually clicked through the error you can then connect to the server.
It is reproducible, I would just have to go to the site in order to do so.

Hi Calypso,
An assumption from my side.
I assume the client starts before the server connection is available and after some attempts to login, the client stops, and you'll get the login screen. If this is the case, please add a delay in the script before the client start.
