    Hi Mark Costello,

    Sorry for the late reply.

I have sent the access request to the files you provided in the post.
Please grant permission to access the files for me.

Furthermore, please take the screenshot of the Server Event Log and share it with us.
You could find the Server Event Log through Main Menu > System Administration > General tab > Event Log button.

    Thank you.

    Hi Mark Costello,

Thanks for the permission to access the log files.

I looked into the log files, the memory usage was around 50% which was fine and normal at the beginning, then it raised to around 90% after 2021-10-06 09:06.

There were lots of the following log entries that appeared on the log files:

2021-10-06 09:06:26.321 1500 INFO nx::network::cloud::relay::ConnectionAcceptor(0xa5a68c0): Cloud connection from 37.228.241.233:27793 has been accepted. Info: relay http://aa3e9c03-d797-2686-39b7-63e81ab3919e.9ed401d4-d6f3-4faa-999a-fe9400f4a32f@relay-ams.vmsproxy.com
    2021-10-06 09:17:22.975 dd8 INFO QnThumbnailsStreamReader(0x39740ee0): Started
    2021-10-06 09:17:23.280 dd8 INFO QnThumbnailsStreamReader(0x39740ee0): Stopped

It indicates there might be lots of requests to view the video archive from the client software, and caused the server to be busy grabbing the thumbnail of the video archive, resulting in high memory usage.

For further investigation, could you share the following information with us?
    1. Testing scenario and method
    2. Numbers of cameras connect to the server
    3. The resolution, bitrate and encoding of the camera
    4. Do you enable motion detection? Does it run on the primary or secondary stream?
    5. The screenshot of the Server Event Log (also mentioned in the previous post)

    Thank you.

    Hi Mark Costello,

We have not heard back from you in a while, please let us know whether you still need our support of the issue.

Please consider updating your server to the latest patch version, here is the in-client upgrade info:
    Build number: 33832
    Password: 11ytrq

After upgrading, please keep monitoring the memory usage of the system, once you found the memory usage increases again and reaches about 70-80%, please follow this support ARTICLE to create a memory dump and share it with us.
Please do not wait until the memory reaches 90% then create the memory dump, since the OS may be hanging at that point.

    Thank you.
