ONVIF error (AddVideoEncoderConfiguration)
AnsweredWhen I have connected "PT-606Z" (https://www.flir.com/products/pt-series-hd/?model=427-0075-01-00) to Nx Witness, then following message has been shown and failed to display live stream.
May I know any workaround to solve this phenomenon?

Please help to check the following questions for us:
1. What's the Nx software version? If it's not the latest 4.2 version, please update it first.
2. Make sure that the camera's firmware is up to date.
3. The DIAGNOSTICS result indicates that the camera returned the error during the camera initialization process. Please follow the steps and collect the packets on your server machine for further checking:
a. Remove the camera from your VMS server.
b. Start the packet capturing on Wireshark(See the instruction in this article).
c. Search and add the camera back to the VMS server.
d. Wait for a while and make sure the same problem appears again.
e. Stop the capturing and save the file. Share the packet file and camera IP with us.
4. Typically, you could also try the workaround - disable system optimization by one of the following methods and see if it helps:
- System-wide configuration: Disable "Allow system to optimize device setting" from System Administration > General page.
- Single-device configuration: Enable "Keep camera stream and profile settings" from Camera Settings > Expert page.
However, it would be better to check the details from the packet to find the root cause. Maybe something that should be fixed on the manufacturer's side.

Thank you very much for prompt reply. Finally, the IP camera successfully has been integrated with Nx Witness by disabling system optimization.
Could you kindly tell me what kind of function is provided by the "system optimization"?

You'll find some explanation from the article here.
In short, Nx will check the camera's stream ability and apply the suggested profile setting to the camera.
Disabled system optimization is just a workaround for those cameras that will return the error during the configuration.Thanks.
