Cannot install or uninstall Nx Client after botched update. Error code 2330.
AnsweredHi all
Due to internet connectivity, I stopped my NX client halfway through updating. Now I can't run it, or uninstall the old version. What can I do next? I don't see any guide to manually remove Nx Witness Client from a Windows machine?

Hi Kevin Chen,
Please follow the below instructions for fixing the incomplete updating:
1. Go to MyNetworkOptix to download the latest installer of the Nx Witness.
2. Follow this support ARTICLE to clean uninstall the Nx Witness Client.
3. If you are not able to uninstall the Nx Witness Client by Nx Witness installer or Windows Control Panel, please remove the Client folder manually, it is located at C:\Program Files\Network Optix\Nx Witness by default.
4. Install the Nx Client again with the installer.
If the issue still exists after you have done all the above, please provide the screenshot of the error message with us for further investigation.
Thank you.0 -

Below is the error when trying to uninstall the client.

Hi Kevin,
Both errors are OS related issues, where the 0x80070643 tells you that files are missing or corrupted, which is expected when the connection fails during the process.
Error code 2330, indicates there are damaged DLL files and therefor you can't uninstall it.
Use the admin rights, to forcefully delete the installation as mentioned in the support article Anderson Chang linked to.
