Regarding the replacement of a camera with the same model number

If a camera malfunctions and is replaced with a spare unit, it will connect automatically—even if the MAC address differs—provided the model number, IP address, ID, and password remain the same.

However, since the connection is established with a different MAC address, unexpected behavior occurs if you repair the faulty camera, keep it as a spare, and then register it again after changing its IP address.

This results in a situation where a camera is registered with a specific MAC address, while the actual camera possessing that MAC address—despite having a different MAC address—also exists within the system.

What steps should I follow to replace it while avoiding this issue?
