    Hello,

Your server itself won't need port 80 or 443 to be open on it, however you must allow outbound 80 (TCP), 443 (TCP), and 3345 (UDP) traffic.

This article, Option 2, explains it as well : What Network Configurations are required in Nx to be connected remotely? – Network Optix

    Hello,

Yes I have seen that article, but there is no explanation why HTTP is needed, when there already is HTTPS

    Hi

Thanks for asking. Here is the response to your question.

1.We don't need any port to be opened for the inbound connections in general.

    2. In case of the outbound (i.e. connections established by the client installed in your infrastructure)
Connection to 80 of our cloud services automatically is redirected to 443 through standard redirection techniques. But for everything to work properly, outbound connections to ports 80 of different services over the internet should still be available.

So, basically, both 80 and 443 are in use. They are for different purposes and different requests.
