Apps missing from Moto G6 phone (w/ Android 9.0)

I have a customer who was trying to install the DW Spectrum app on his Tracfone Moto G6, running Android 9.0, and can't find the app. I looked at his phone and there are only three Digital Watchdog apps in the store (on mine there are four counting the DWS app). Being curious I then searched for Nx Witness on his phone and it doesn't show up either.

Is this a known problem for the Moto G6?

    Hi Jeff Jones,

    I'm pretty confident that the Motorola Moto G6 is a 32-bit phone. 
    As of August 2019, Google Play has stopped accepting 32-bit applications and are requiring them to be bundled with 64-bit applications, which isn't something we can deliver at this stage.

    I'm not a programmer so enlighten me if you can, but why do the build numbers have to match in a bundled app? Why is it not just the latest and greatest from each category not zipped up into a single download.

    If they do have to match though, then when the build is published to the store couldn't you let the 64-bit version control what is published and make the 32-bit always a revision of the 64-bit version?

    So if 64-bit is v.20.3.31784.0 (always ending in point zero) then the 32-bit would be 32-bit v.20.3.31784.1 if it needed some extra fixes.

    Hi Jeff Jones,

    I'm not a programmer as well, but since we use native code, Google has different requirements per July 2019, which means that we have to rebuild a significant part of our mobile application to meet the change requirements. Or we leave the 32-Bit part outside the play store version and offer the 32-Bit version as an APK.

    As you noticed, we chose the last option due to the small percentage of 32-Bit phones (<1%) that uses the mobile application. That being said, it is something that is on our to-do list, but with a lower priority.

    You are referencing to the old version.

    The actual released version is 20.3

    Thanks. Christal Lane over at Digital Watchdog provided the link to that outdated version yesterday. It would be nice if they could keep an archive of all the versions over there in that publiclibrary server.
