    still not working I try all the following steps, i want add NVR not camera only, and all the NVRs is working by using URL no network issue no device issue nothing i enable the multicast also  i try everything with no chances to find the device.

    Hi Abdullah,

    In that case the manufacturer of the NVR should resolve the Onvif issue.

    Probably the only option right now is adding the individual streams manually as RTSP streams.

    there's no issue with Onvif i check everything maybe because i have trial version will not work ?

    Hi abdullah hamad,

    If your device is not able to discovered or managed by ONVIF device manager, it means the device is not compatible with ONVIF standard. And it is expected that the device cannot be discovered by Nx as well.
    If you would like to add the RTSP stream directly, please confirm whether the stream could be playback by the VLC player on the server machine first.

    Additionally, could you provide the device information of the manufacturer and model name?

    i don't think so is not supporting ONVIF its HIKVISION NVR 

    model : DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P 

    S NO/ DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P0820180517CCRRC22100000WCVU

    Firmware : V3.4.99 build 180324

    Hi abdullah hamad,

    Thanks for your information.

    Maybe you didn't enable ONVIF on your Hikvision NVR. Please refer to the document to enable the feature first then try again.

    Per the previous suggestion, please make sure the device can be managed by the ONVIF device manager first.

    Hi abdullah hamad,

    Thanks. Then it should be compatible with the ONVIF.  Please check whether IP address/HTTP port of the device is reachable on the server machine. Moreover, you could upgrade the device firmware and try again. 
    If you have confirmed that it could work with the ONVIF device manager, please share the screenshot with us.

    and you can see i can reach the NVR from the browser so the IP is correct

    Hi abdullah hamad,

    Based on your screenshot, the admin is the only user that has permission to use the ONVIF service.

    Please log out of the demo account from the ONVIF device manager and login as admin.

    In Nx, you should also use the admin account to discover the device.

    Hi Abdullah,

    As long as it doesn't work in the Onvif Device Manger, it won't work in NC Witness.

    Please reach out to Hikvision in order to ask them to support you to make the device working in the Onvif Device Manager.

    If it works there, it most likely will work in NC or at least we have a basis to resolve it.

    also another brand same problem is not working and its supporting Onvif but also same issue for both of them 

     

    i will keep try, by the way others software is working fine but NX is better than them so i wish will work with me

    Hi abdullah hamad,

    We are more than happy to support you, but in this case there is not much we can do for you. 
    If it doesn't work in the Onvif Device Manager; the supplier of the device should resolve it for you if possible. 
    If it does work in the Onvif Device Manager, but doesn't in Nx Witness, we are more than happy to investigate the issue, so we hopefully can resolve it for you.
