Status of Nx Witness users
AnsweredI am an end user of Nx Witness on an iMac connected to a Nx1 device linked to four security cameras. The installed version of the software is 4.0.0.31274.
The system was set up by a security firm which, for convenience, named itself as the owner (and super administrator) of the system. The security company and I now wish to completely remove its involvement in the administration of the system. That does not appear possible from within the app. The company has requested that, from within system administration in Nx witness, I "disconnect" its account and "reconnect" with my account. I can see only that there is one account "owned" by it and no way for me or it to change its status.
Is there any way of achieving the desired result without starting afresh and reinstalling the system with a new license?

Hi Gary,
I assumed you'd like to disconnect your Nx system from the security company's cloud account.
This is only allowed to execute by the system owner(username: admin).
Please follow the article here to disconnect the account first, then connect to your Nx cloud account.
