    Hi Jordan,

    Am I right that this problem is caused by the fact that timeline opens at full zoom-out state, and shows all existing recordings from the beginning?

    And can this issue be solved by opening the timeline in the state where it shows last 24h only?

    If yes – we are planning to fix it, but not sure when exactly this fix going to be released. I'll try to push that fix to get it done sooner.
    If no – can you please elaborate, in which state timeline should be opened so that you could start working directly?

    Yes you are right,

    I think the better solution is to display last hours : 

    And not display all recordings (is not optimized) : 

    So a customer can start to playback immediately, can start searching motion directly, and use the calendar or mouse if he need to search at another time.
    And,a customer can use mouse to zoom out, to see all existing recording if he wants.

    But when a customer open the Client, he wants start work immediately, and not open it, set a date with the calendar, use mouse the move the timeline to the right to see actual recording etc....

    He doesn't need to see all existing recordings to work, if he need only search a motion in the last hours/last day...

    Unfortunately, those requests are not smth that can be released in such a short timeframe :)

    I wish we had this speed of development, but the reality is that we have a lot of feature requests.

    During the roadmap discussion, we prioritize critical issues and features. Everything we do pass through a thorough design and testing process. So some features are postponed for several releases till we can deliver them with appropriate quality.

    Anyway, thank you for your patience and sorry for any inconvenience!

    Unfortunately, such features are not being worked on at the moment. We understand you would like to have this request implemented, so we will take your feedback into account for future feature discussions.

    If is noted though, so it might appear one day in a new release.
