Can you provide Nx server stress test data?

Dear Developer,

We recently will add many cameras to the server, and there will be many video streaming requests.

Can you provide server stress test data or suggestions?

  Hi Chung I-Chia,

  No need to hope, you'll be fine if you keep the hardware specs for the server and desktop client in mind and the max number of TCP connections. Also, we have some guideline for large system deployments, but a system with 50 cameras isn't considered as a large deployment yet. The 100 connections does require some considerations about the number concurrent users per server and camera, but you'll be fine it you follow the linked support articles. You also might consider to use at least 2 servers, to benefit from failover. 

  If you want, you always can set up a system before deployment with our Testcamera application to test the performance of the system.

  Hello Chuang,

  How many concurrent stream will request at the same time? Do you meet any problem there?

  The Nx Server Hardware spec and  Nx System calculator  are the guideline we could provide at the moment.

  You may check the required bitrate from the calculator if there will be large number of stream request at the same time.

  Currently in the erection stage. We hope Nx server is still working when 50 camera is online and 100 or more video streaming connection.

  Can you provide data or suggestions?
