    Hi Jeff,

The text overlay is to indicate the bookmark segment of playing video. It cannot be disabled if you click and play the bookmark via Nx client directly. However, you still could export the specific bookmark and hide the bookmark info. Hope it helps.

Let me know if you have further question, thank you.

    Hi Jeff Jones

As Wendy mentioned, it is possible to circumvent the issue, but I personally see you point and it would be nice if you can set the position of the text overlay in any of the 4 corners or even in the middle of the screen if that would be the least bad position for that specific camera.

I will bring this topic to the attention of our design team, maybe they can resolve something in the future, but most likely it will take at least two release (4.1 and 4.2) before they are able to change anything, if possible at all.

    Hi Jeff,

To temporarily hide the bookmark overlay you can select another tab in the right panel instead of the "Bookmarks" tab ("Notifications", for example).

In the future versions we'll try to come up with a way to get the overlay hidden without leaving the "Bookmarks" tab.

@... - That is a good work around. I didn't even realize the bookmarks disappear from the timeline when the tab isn't selected.
