Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
This has been a recurring request for a while. Unfortunately, it's not yet done.

This would be an amazing feature. We are discussing now how best to handle essential / sensitive footage. Our only option now is to just export it. But keeping it within Nx would be ideal. We can do that by exporting to .nov, but that is just a local resource and not archived backup.

What would you suggest avoiding that the locked data prevents the storage of recorded data.
In other words, the goal of the system would be affected if 90% of your storage is full of 'Locked Events' and only 10% is left for regular recording.Should it be X amount of locked events?
Should it be X amount of GB?
Should it be X% of the total storage?
Should it be ???0 -
Good point Norman. I’d be open for a % of storage or a set GB amount. And then the ability to create a storage rule for notifications about that limit.
A list view of all “protected / secure” bookmarks and their total storage amount would be helpful for managing this, so when you hit the limit, you could potentially prune older bookmarks.
For me, it would be protection a section from being over written, but, if it was also possible to require specific permissions for viewing a secure bookmark? But that might be a different feature of preventing people from access a specific bookmark.
