    Please check THIS support article. 

    In most cases, the solution can be found in the camera. 
    When you reduce the load on the camera by reducing the framerate and/or quality the RTP package loss will be minimized or even eliminated.

    Also having this issue with Hikvision cameras the two Dahua Cameras onsite are perfect.

    Hi Daniel Francis,

    You could follow the guide and this article to do initial troubleshooting on your camera first. You could play the RTSP stream via VLC player on the server machine and verify if the same problem happens.

    Mostly the problem is more likely the camera problem and it might be the independent case with different camera manufacturers or models. So I'll suggest you create another post with the details(Nx version, camera firmware, models, and issue symptom) if the issue still remains.
