    HI Kirk,

Unfortunately, we don't have this option available.

using Axis cameras. would it be possible to use Axis camera companion to access and manage SD card recording. while also at the same time run NX in the network. so that when network connection is lost to server, as long as camera has power, SD card recording will still be there, albeit accessed from Axis camera companion.

does that sound like it should work?

    has anyone tried it?

does anyone know if it works?

i guess we need to understand if Axis CC will interfere with NX or visa versa.... do they use teh same API's?

    cheers,

    paul

Never tried it, Paul. Might be a conflict with the streams (two VMS's competing), but would love to hear what your test results are if you do give it a go.

Should work Paul, but both systems will compete for the stream settings, which can be circumvented by enabling the function  'Keep camera stream and profile settings".

IMPORTANT: Enabling this flag means FPS and image quality settings in the recording schedule will be ignored. The settings of the camera or in the other VMS will be used.

You can find this function as follows:

    1. Open Camera Settings and go to the Expert tab.
    2. Check Keep camera stream and profile settings.
    3. Click Apply or OK when finished.

NOTE: Not all cameras are capable of streaming to multiple resources and might freeze or drop too many RTP/TCP packages.
