The same happens when using URLs to controle the client. It always starts a new instance which I do not want.

    Hi Andy Knuts,

I deleted the entry from the article, since -no-single-application was deprecated after version 4.0, and should have been removed from the support article a long time ago.

Could you be a bit more specific, what it is what you want to achieve?

Do you want to switch layout inside the Nx Desktop Client or the content of your OS screen?

    Hi Norman,

I do indeed want to somehow control nx client to show a different layout.
I could write an application that can send keyboard or mouse commands to NX Witness in order to get a specific layout shown but that's not really the proper way of doing things.

All I want is be able to keep one instance of NX Witness Client running and somehow have control over which layout it should show depending on some external logic.
