Unable to upgrade Server, unable to downgrade Witness

I have an old NX Micro that I want to update, but I'm having trouble doing so. The device is online and connected to the cloud, but whenever I try to log in, I encounter the following error message:

Error Message:

Download Client version 4.1.0.32369?

Client and Server have different versions:
Client - 5.0.0.35745
Server - 4.1.0.32369
You have to download another version of Nx Witness Client to connect to this Server.

Options:
Download & Install
Cancel

When I click "Download & Install," I get another error:

Failed to enter compatibility mode for version 4.1.0.32369

Client and Server have different versions:
Client - 5.0.0.35745
Server - 4.1.0.32369
You have to download another version of Nx Witness Client to connect to this Server.

Options:
OK

I've already tried using older versions of the NX Client, but the problem persists. I've attempted this on both Mac and Windows, but nothing seems to work. I'm willing to provide my login credentials for the NX cloud if someone could help me resolve this.

    Hi kieferdr,

    Please manually upgrade the Nx Server application by the installer.

    Theoretically, it is possible to upgrade directly from 4.1.0 to 5.0.0.
    However, due to the huge release time and version gaps, we suggest backing up the configuration and necessary database, and then upgrading from major releases by major releases.
     
    Please refer to section A of this support ARTICLE, follow steps 1 to 4, the License key and Hardware ID section, and the Server Database section under step 5 to back up the necessary database.
     
    Please consider upgrading your Nx Server in this sequence: 4.1.0.31398 → 4.2.0.32840 → 5.0.0.36634.
    Then, you should be able to upgrade the Nx Server and Nx Client together with the in-client upgrade function in this sequence: 5.0.0.36634 → 5.1.5.39242 → 6.0.0.39503.
