    Yes, good to hear from you!

    I eventually managed to get those 4 cameras to go back to operating normally by repeatedly re-indexing the two servers many times (maybe a dozen times?).

    The only problem I have now is uncertainty about what will happen when I try to upgrade again. I want to upgrade it to 6.0 now. But I don't really know if I will get the same problems as when I upgraded to 5.1.3 then had to retreat.

    Hi Edward Dickey,

    Since the root cause is currently unclear, we can't guarantee whether the issue might occur again during a future upgrade. That said, it’s unlikely to be a widespread problem, as we would have identified it across the thousands of systems we manage in the field.

    As a best practice, we always recommend creating a restore point before making any major changes. This ensures you have a simple way to revert to the previous state if needed.
