Add Analytics Functionality for LTS Dual Sensor PTZ Cameras
AnsweredThe LTS Dual sensor PTZ Cameras (Model VSPTZIP4C44WSL-X25IR) have some decent analytic features (Line crossing, intrusion, facial detection), etc, however, Spectrum doesn't recognize that these cameras have analytics. Could this functionality be added to a future release?

Hello Zack,
We have plans to support such ONVIF cameras, but the earliest possible release for that will be 6.1 and there is a chance of further delay.
Anyway, if you want, you can provide us the Wireshark capture of camera initialization / triggered analytics event, or port forward the camera to us, and we can verify if there is anything we can do now. We can create a ticket and proceed there in such case.

Hello Zack,
You can also try to use the solution below. There is a chance that other amendments will be required, so please let us know about the results.
Please follow the steps as described below:
- Stop the mediaserver application and paste the resource_data.json file you can download HERE at the following location:
For Windows: C:\Program Files\Network Optix\Nx Witness\MediaServer
For Linux: /opt/networkoptix/mediaserver/bin/
- Now start the mediaserver application again.
To stop and start the media server, please do it as follows:
For Windows:
Open the task manager, select tab ‘Services’ find the mediaserver application, right-click and select; Stop or Start
For Linux:
Open the terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and enter the following command;
sudo systemctl stop networkoptix-mediaserver.service
or
sudo systemctl start networkoptix-mediaserver.service
Best regards.

Good Evening, Ruslan,
Still no change. I have a wireshark capture file for you. See the link below:

Ruslan,
That worked. Analytics are now showing up on the system after deleting and re-adding the camera. Thanks again for the help! A new issue came up though regarding camera licensing. The LTS Dual sensor PTZ's initially took only one license. Now, the system is having the camera take up 2 licenses, which is not good as I do not have the appropriate amount of licenses if I were to delete and re-add all of these type of cameras. I'm guessing it has to do with the camera showing another manufacturer.
