Merging Server after replacing hardware

Hi NX users,

we had to replace a server (not the parent server) that was merged with several other servers.

We deactivated the licenses and did a backup of the database (Ubuntu).

We then reinstalled NX on the new hardware and imported the database again (Ubuntu 22.04).

That all worked well but now we do not know how to merge the server again without losing all cameras and users.

Versions from all servers are 5.1.4.38659

What is the correct way?

  Hi,

  we now did follow the instructions listed here:

  At first, the merging of the two server always failed but after restarting the parent server everything went well and is working again.

  So the issue is resolved.
