  Hi Jason Park,

  Yes. If the servers are in the same subnet as the desktop client, it will discover the available systems or servers.

  I understand that you shared the link and it works in the VMS Server.

  I am developing the Access Control integration plugin for NX VMS and would like to discover it and list the VMS. 

  I would like to know how to discover the VMS Server system from third-party applications.

  Hi Jason Park,

  Unfortunately there is no API for mediaserver discovery. However, it is a multicast in fact. So I assume this might be achievable if you listen to the multicast. 
  
  Our Desktop client uses this approach as well, FYI, the multicast address is 239.255.11.11:5008
