re: Encoders need to be added to list – Network Optix
JIRA-VMS-51718
After updating to 5.1.3.38363 the Dahua N84B5N is now asking for Professional licenses again.
The resource_data.json file is still in the directory.
I do not see Dahua N84B5N added under the encoders added to the analog list on the release notes.
Please can you help?

Hi SD,
That is surprising.
Could you share the version number you'll see when you run the following API request?
https://<serverIp>:7001/rest/v2/system/resourceData

Norman-Nx-Support the submit button is missing for me in Edge and the Reply box is missing for me in Chrome... Here is the reply
Good day Norman

Hi SD,
The version number is at the bottom of the output.

Ah, sorry about tthat Norman
"version": "5.0.0.568"

Hi SD,
That clarifies it. Please open the resource_data.json file on your computer and change the current version number (now it is at the top of the file) and change the version number to 5.0.0.569 and restart the mediaserver application. Now if you run the API request:
https://<serverIp>:7001/rest/v2/system/resourceData
Version 5.0.0.569 should be listed, and the issue should be resolved.
In the meantime, I'll check why the fix wasn't processed yet.0 -
Hi SD
I checked, and it seems that I submitted the fix for the encoders, while the code freeze for 5.1.3 already took place. I also, noticed that the fix will be permanent in version 5.1.4 which should be released soon. If you want to review the release notes or already want to try the release candidate for 5.1.4, you can find it here:0 -
Thank you so much for the help Norman!
All working well again.0
