I understand that NxWitness still has no real-time video analytics implemented.

From all the Analytics we have seen in the field the most actually used function is by far the perimeter violation detection, sometimes referred to as "Line Crossing detection" or "Virtual Fence".

This kind of analytics is the basis of all image analysis, where you need to detect an object movement.

Generic Motion Detection, as is currently implemented in NxWitness, will just not cut it for High End projects.

  Hi Visus Support,

  I realize this is an old question - but those features are now part of Nx Witness from v3.2 onwards where we support the in-camera analytics for the following brands in alphabetical order: Axis, Dahua, Hanwha, and Hikvision. More brands will follow after the release of 4.1 this summer.
