Failed-over when all storage are unavailable?
AnsweredAs we know, NX Server will handover the tasks to other online servers, when itself is down.
The reasons could be power failure, network failure, or application crashed.
But what if the storage failed? Here we talked about all available storage are gone. It means no storage could be used.
[Example]
#1. NX server works fine with two storages.
#2. At late midnight, the storage suddenly failed and offline.
#3. The NX server alerted the problem, but no one noticed.
#4. At this moment, there is no storage available in the NX Server, but NX Server still work.
#5. Right now we just alert the warning, but do nothing. So the recording keep losing until someone might be aware of storage failure.
Could we add this case also a trigger condition to Failed-over function?

Hi Ichiro,
I realize this is an old question - but those features are now part of Nx Witness. Check out the latest version if you haven't yet.

Hi @...,
Please create your own topic in the correct section, like HERE.
Based on the limited information and the image, I would check the recording settings. It could be that the cameras are set to Motion-Recording only. So, when you submit your own topic, assure there is sufficient information to provide some guidance. Please check THIS support article to get a general idea what to look for.
