Uniview PTZ and triggering an output

Hi, I have a couple of Uniview PTZ cameras, added via auto discovery.  I'd like to use the output on the cameras to trigger a gate.  The output works direct via the web interface of the camera, but not as a soft trigger in NX.

NX Sees an available output of Output Relay 0 as well as an auto option. Neither works.  NX knows it is a Uniview camera, and is using Uniview plugin 1.0.0

Camera model: IPC6254SR-X33DUP

FIrmware: HCMN-B2201.6.9.220415

NX Server V: 5.1.1.37512 - Note: Output did not work on previous versions either.

Just for reference, I've checked with Onvif Device Manager, and the relay triggers happily via that.
