Hi, I have a question about the required bitrate.

The values of bitrate calculated with the tool "System Calculator" and the actual one seem different.

The conditions are below.
- Codec: H264
- Resolution: 1080p (1920*1080)
- FPS: 15
- Quality: Low


The two images below are from my Nx Witness Client.
It shows the bitrate as 1.2 Mbit/s.



Then, this is the result from System Calculator.
It shows the bitrate as 0.35 Mbit/s.


I don't know why the different values show up even if all the conditions are the same.
I'd like to know if I have any other fields that should be checked.

  Regarding:

  That is correct. The system calculator is quite conservative. while in reality the values could be more optimistic. Also, the system calculator has been caught by time and things have been changing over time.

  Also, therefore we add the following note to the calculator:

  Important: The report is meant to act only as a guide to building your system and real-life results could differ significantly.

  In the future the system calculator will get a revamp and such items will be taken into consideration.
