Media Stream Issues
AnsweredHi,
Since I updated to 4.2.0.32658 my Sony VB-632D cameras running firmware 3.0 will not stream. I can see them through the web console but not via NX. I get the message "Media stream is opened but no media data was received."
Not all the the same model cameras are effected.

Hi Craig,
Can you try updating the SNC-VB632D firmware to the latest version (3.2)?

Please remove the camera, update firmware, and add the camera back to the system.
If this does not resolve the issue:
1. Enable "Keep camera stream and profile settings" in the Expert tab of Camera Settings.
2. Provide the vendor/model of the camera as reported exactly on Nx Witness - or give us a screenshot of the Camera Settings - General tab (+expand the More Info option)

Hi,
I removed the cameras and applied the Sony update with no luck.
In the end I had to turn off the "Allow system to optimize cameras.." (I have always have this enabled). Then I turned the feature back on. This seems to have corrected the bug. It appears when I update to 4.2 there is an issue when you already have this enabled.

Hi Craig Healey,
Thank you for your feedback. In 4.2 we have updated some Onvif communication, which most likely caused the issue, and when disabling, enabling the optimization, these new commands are processed. To be honest, this should not occur, but I'm happy to read that you found a way to work around it.
