    Hi @...,

You could add them as independent RTSP streams as described in THIS article.

But this is not commonly done and people use the universal fisheye dewarping feature instead, which is included in our Nx Witness Desktop client and Nx Witness Mobile client, which applies for live and recorded footage.

This offers you more flexibility and only requires a single license to record the camera stream.

You enable the fisheye dewarping by clicking the fisheye icon in the header of the camera.
The icon left of it, is the zoom window feature which enables you to select sections of the fisheye camera by dragging a square on the image and which open separately on the layout.

You also can hit 'D', the hotkey to enable the dewarping mode. The hotkey 'W' will enable the zoom windows.

HERE a video that explains the universal fisheye dewarping in the Nx Witness Desktop Client application.

    Thanks for the information Norman,

I like using the camera to dewarp to low the cpu usage of the server.

To confirm, would you need a new licence for each RTSP stream?

    Thanks

    Hi @...,

In case you want to record the RTSP streams, additional licenses are required. If they are used for live view only, no additional licenses are required.

I wouldn't worry too much about the CPU usage of the server.

For your idea. On one of our demo servers which has an (older) i3 CPU with 8 GB RAM, we have minimal CPU load and a bit more RAM load, but most of the load will be on the Nx Desktop client. In my case a laptop with an i7 and 32 GB RAM.

In this case I opened one Fisheye camera and displayed multiple (8) zoom windows that displays the dewarped images.

Such setup requires only 1 license per fisheye camera, regardless of the number of dewarped images.
