Layout resets settings.
AnsweredAfter updating to 4.2.0.32658 on my Win 10 server the settings for three of my 20 cameras was reset. This is the layout of the wanted section of my 360 deg. cameras, two Dahua IPC-EBW81230 and one Dahua IPC-EBW81200.
I set the wanted section and save this to the layout and locks the layout. After changing to another layout and then go back to the new saved layout, all my settings are reset to the original for the camera. (This is the ONLY setting that is reset, motion and other settings are not affected.) This is with 'dewarping' selected.
Is this how you mean that this should work from now on? Not possible to store a selected view for the 360 deg cameras? My previous version worked great storing exactly the selection I wanted to display, but now the settings are useless.
Can you inform me if this is the way it should work or if this is a fault in the new software?

I am experiencing the same issue with NX Witness version 4.2.0.32658. It is with fisheye cameras when using the dewarping. We have 3 different models of fisheye camera, and we are experiencing the problem on all of them.
Fault description:
When loading a saved layout, or switching to an already loaded layout, the view defaults to one particular angle and at maximum zoom.

We have 16 fisheye cameras, and this is making it extremely difficult to use them.

The server patch is also required. I couldn't provide the exact build number at the moment since it's not confirmed yet. Please wait for the next monthly patch of 4.2 (My Nx > Download > Patch) and refer to our release note.

If not, could you provide us with a pre-release patch since the issue has already been fixed on your end?
I have a lot of grumpy users asking daily when this will be resolved. Nearly all of our cameras are fisheye, and at the moment they are almost unusable for our purposes.

OK, but what about an ETA on when the monthly patch will be released? And whether or not this fix will definitely be included in the next patch?
Our cameras (16 of them) are all but unusable at the moment, and it's frustrating to not even have an ETA.
Wendy Chuang has acknowledged that the problem has been fixed, but this is now the 3rd time I've asked when the patch will be released and I still don't have an answer?

We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please understand that we are unable to provide any ETA date because it is not confirmed yet. However, our team has considered this problem seriously, and possibly the incoming 4.2 hotfix will include the fix. We might have more information this week and I'll update you soon.

From my point of view, it's the expected behavior. The motion detection uses the original stream source instead of the dewarping image. Thus, the dewarping mode will be turned off while you switching to the smart motion function.Thank you.

I haven't had a chance to update the servers yet, but simply updating the clients fixes the issue.
